KY Wounded Warriors Week could not have been possible without the generous financial support of sponsors, gifts and silent auction items from businesses and individual volunteer time and efforts by BMAC members. We thank the many individuals and businesses who helped us support KY Wounded Warriors and their families.
Members of BMAC and their guests enjoyed opportunities on SUN 09 SEP at the BMAC Silent Auction, on MON 10 SEP at the BMAC KY Wounded Warriors Celebrity Golf Tournament-LEXINGTON and again on WED 12 SEP at the BMAC KY Wounded Warriors Golf Tournament-SOMERSET to socialize with KY Wounded Warriors to learn about their experiences in Afghanistan, Iraq and other military duty stations.
KY Wounded Warriors also enjoyed the opportunity eat lunch at the K-Club and watch the University of Kentucky Football team compete against Kent State during the UK Heroes Night on SAT 8 SEP.
When you are planning your business and individual budgets for 2013, please consider adding BMAC to your list of worthy causes. We are told repeatedly that “Our company gives exclusively to health and human services causes.” Providing financial support to KY Wounded Warriors and their families is contributing to “health and human services,” and it will do so for the lifetimes of our beneficiaries, so please help decision makers to understand about this important non-profit and non-governmental effort being made through BMAC. BMAC members and volunteers will be soliciting for donations and working through fundraising efforts and events throughout the year in order to provide financial grants and programs in support of KY Wounded Warriors. Every contribution counts, regardless the amount because it all adds up to making good things happen for men and women who volunteered to go to war on behalf of this nation, were wounded-for-life and will need continuous support of fellow citizens.
