On Saturday 17 MAY 2008, the Bluegrass Military Affairs Coalition (BMAC) will present the 13th Annual Armed Forces Day Dinner Dance and Awards at the Radisson Plaza Hotel, Lexington KY. The purpose of the event is to recognize and honor local men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

The evening will begin with a hospitality hour at 6p, in the foyer on the second floor.  At 7p, the program will commence with a Presentation of The Colors by USMCR MP Co A LEXKY.  A delicious dinner will be served at 7p followed by recognition of all military, presentation of BMAC exemplary service awards to selected members of local military units and featured remarks by a Navy SEAL. 

Sponsorship Packages (Tables for Troops - 1 to 5 STARS)

BMAC needs individuals, public and private sector organizations to:

• buy and host a table to include their employees who are Guard/Reserve members or veterans;
  
• sponsor a table to be donated to active duty, guard and reserve members so they can attend at no charge to be recognized for their military service to the United States of America, particularly Warrior/Citizens who have returned from active duty in Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan) and Operation Iraqi Freedom;
  
• sponsor the reception, entertainment, program printing or speaker appreciation items for the event to offset the costs to BMAC so more military members can be invited to the event.

*Donated tables for Troops will be filled by uniformed military members and family members of deployed personnel from units in this area.

**Awards will be presented to two individuals from each military unit who have been cited for exemplary service by their commanding officer. Each award recipient will receive: commission to rank of Kentucky Colonel and BMAC Certificate of Exemplary Service.
