On Saturday 15 MAY 2010, the Bluegrass Military Affairs Coalition (BMAC) will present the 15th Annual BMAC Armed Forces Day Award Dinner at NorthEast Christian Church, Lexington KY. The purpose of the event is to recognize and honor local men and women currently serving in the United States Armed Forces.

The 7:00p program and dinner will include patriotic music performed by the 202nd Army Band, presentation of The Colors, a delicious buffet dinner, presentation of BMAC Outstanding Service Awards to uniformed members of local units, and remarks by COL Joseph A. Tirone, Commander, Blue Grass Army Depot, Joint Munitions Command.

Become a Tables for Troops Sponsor
How can civilians and veterans support our troops and our families?

You could join others in Lexington who will sponsor Operation Table for Troops.

Thousands of Guard and Reserve members who live and work in Central Kentucky have served multiple mobilizations in support of Operation Noble Eagle and deployments to Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), many others are preparing to leave home for national defense. Some of these volunteers will be attending this event and need your support.

BMAC solicits and needs individuals, public and private sector organizations to step forward to:

buy and host a table to include their employees who are Guard/Reserve members or veterans;
sponsor a table to be donated to active duty, guard and reserve members so they can attend at no charge to be recognized for their military service to the United States of America;
sponsor parts of the event to offset the expenses to BMAC so more military members and spouses can be invited to the event at no cost.
